Rollsizer processing 9mm cases at 6,000+ cases per hour
The rollsizer from Whitehead Specialty Engineering is now in full production. Processing rates well in excess of 6,000 cases per hour. Multiple calibre options including 308Win and 223 / 5.56 Nato.
The rollsizer removes the bulge in the base of the fired case to bring the case back into specification to allow reloading. The rollsizing process is extremely complicated but can be broken down into 3 main areas;
When combined with the normal sizing dies the case will be meet SAAMI specifications. Calibre options include most pistol calibres as well as 308 and 223/5.56 rifle calibre and hybrid cases based on those cases. Subject to a suitable casefeeder, the processing speed on pistol cases is up to 6,400 cases per hour, rifle cases up to 4,000 cases per hour. The machine is commercial grade supplied with a 12 month replacement warranty for the major components (motor, gearbox, rolling discs and case push assembly).
The major components are conservatively sized and the working components will last many years service. Some spares are supplied with the machine and include retention springs, activation levers and case push return springs. Refer to the rollsizer.com terms and conditions on the website,
All commercial rollsizers will be supplied with either a 110VAC or 220-240VAC single phase motor and a moulded plug to suit the country of purchase. 220VAC orders outside of Australia will be supplied with a European plug and customers can spource a Euro to USA adaptor plug or install a new plug to suit. All 220VAC motors supplied to the USA / Euope can be run on 50Hz or 60hHz.

The DC Electric Drive Rollsizer is suitable for the low to medium volume reloader. The DC electric rollsizer produces a similar result as the large scale rollsizer but at a lower cost (and processing rate – 1500 Cases per hour vs 6,400 cases per hour). The DC rollsizers require a minimum run in period of 2 hours before use but may occasionally need longer time.
The Rollsizer is supplied with a hose and adaptor to connect to your Dillon casefeeder, a small spares kit and a very high quality AC to DC power converter and a moulded plug or Plug adaptor to suit your local power supply as standard.
Calibre conversion discs and drop tubes will be selected by nominating the calibres you want and and the website calculator will select the most cost effective combination.

The manual rollsizer uses the same rolling parts as the DC unit but requires manual cranking. The crank effort required is minimal. The rollsizer can be connected to your Dillon (TM) case feeder using the supplied hose and adaptor clip or connected to other case feeder types with some modifications. No, you cannot modify the manual rollsizer to a DC drive at a later stage. the gearbox internals are different.
The rollsizer is supplied with hex drive bits to connect your portable drill to the rollsizer. Simply remove the crank handle and insert the hex bit into your drill and the bolt fitted into the end of the crank handle shaft and run it.
That’s it, too easy.
Rollsizer kit includes all the fittings to connect to your Dillon casefeeder. The rollsizer should be mounted to your work bench for best operation. Please note, Calibre conversion discs and drop tubes are separate and must be ordered separately. To order the correct parts use the “buy a rollsizer” link in the page above.
